Return of the 3rd XV!

Petersfield RFC are delighted to confirm that for the first time in 6(!) years, that our 3rd XV will be playing in a competitive season next year, with regular game time and regular socials to match these!

This has been a long time coming now, and after a successful season last year which saw the 3rd XV take to the field on numerous occasions, the team will be officially returning to the Hampshire Invitational League this year, with the aims of consistent game time and offering those who are coming back to rugby a suitable level to get back into it. The league is made up of a collection of 2nd and 3rd playing squads, totalling 16 teams, so this will offer plenty of chances for those to get involved, however much they (or their body) is able to take on.

Led up by club legend, Alex Groves, the 3rd XV will be an exciting prospect for the future season, as Petersfield RFC looks to grow as a club and play the same expansive rugby through all of the teams, from the 1s down to our Academy squads.
