Following the doldrums of 2013-14, when a small but dedicated bunch of Colts routinely made it to training, it was heartening for the coaching team to see the packed session on Tuesday.

Karl described the turnout as "brilliant" and the feedback from the players suggests that they too enjoyed the session. With the current crop of players showing a willingness to learn and the desire to build on their current abilities, the squad looks set to develop into a very useful team.

Feedback from the attendees suggested that a number of players will be returning to the Club having missed last season. In addition confirmation has already been received that other regular players will also be returning after their holidays to swell the numbers available. The inclusion of more players can only help strengthen the squad as training becomes more effective and the challenge for places increases player focus.

With the extensive fixture list now virtually complete, (check the website), there will be plenty of games available to keep all players invloved throughout the season.
