Watch, enjoy, and choose your favourite the seven best Petersfield RFC tries in September!

Calling all members, it's Try Of The Month time! The month of September has brought us some unbelievable tries from all Petersfield RFC teams, and we need your help to decide which try deserves to be crowned Petersfield RFC's September Try of the Month.

We've had fantastic efforts across different age groups, and we've shortlisted the top 7 nominations for you to watch and vote on. Take a look at each try and cast your vote to decide who will take home the honour!

Here are the 7 nominations:

1. Ben C | Under 14 vs Midhurst
A fantastic aerial view was captured by our drone operator, Andrew Cross, during a magical moment when our Under 14s faced Midhurst at Penns Place! After catching a clearance kick from the opposition, Isaac M skipped past EIGHT defenders before finally being tackled. As the opposition scrambled to reposition after losing significant ground, the Under 14s quickly moved the ball wide, allowing Ben C to dot down under the posts for a truly remarkable try!

2. Dan Chinnock | Under 18 vs Portsmouth
Our second nomination features what can now only be described as a trademark Dan Chinnock try! Following a Portsmouth line-out around the halfway line, a missed pass by the hosts was swiftly intercepted by Chinnock, who outpaced the opposition to score under the posts!

3. Jacob | Under 7s
When watching this try, some might argue that Jacob from the Under 7s deserves a call up to the Fiji 7s team as he channeled their famous flair when picking up the ball from his own try line. With the ball in one hand, Jacob stepped the entire opposition (and the referee!) on his way to scoring a magic try!

4. Ollie Chads | Under 18 vs Gosport & Fareham
Our fourth nomination is a coast-to-coast effort by our Under 18s, who sneakily ripped the ball from an attacking Gosport & Fareham side on their own 5-metre line! Jamie Guthrie made a powerful run before delivering a perfectly crafted kick down the line, which was picked up at full tilt by Ollie Chads!

5. Miles Sampson | 1st XV vs Wimborne
Seen by over 20,000 people on social media, this (slightly) viral try came in the second half of the 1st XV’s league win over Wimborne. After a quick penalty inside the 22, Charlie Muir burst through the defensive line before being tackled on the opposition’s 10-metre line. A clever pass from scrum-half Alex Duffus off the ruck gave Nick Blumlein the space to deliver an inch-perfect, and somewhat outrageous, cross-field kick that was plucked out of the sky by Liam Perkins, to the roar of the Penns Place crowd. Although he fell just short of the try line, Miles Sampson was on hand to pick up from the breakdown and dive over in the corner.

6. Jake B | Under 15s vs Portsmouth
Our sixth nomination for Try of the Month was scored by our Under 15s in their game against Portsmouth at Penns Place! A wide clearance kick from the opposition, deep in their own half, landed in the hands of the Petersfield full-back, who danced past a few defenders before offloading to Jake B to score in the corner!

7. Liam Perkins | 1st XV vs Tottonians
Our final nomination for September's Try of the Month comes from Player/Coach Liam Perkins, who finished off a brilliant run of play that started with a powerful run from Miles Sampson! A deceptive pass from Nick Blumlein, complemented by a beautiful run from Cam Duffus, broke through the Tottonians' defensive line before being offloaded back to Blumlein. He then found Mathews, who set up Liam Perkins to score in the corner!
